On Sunday, 1st February, the Dublin SPCA suffered a fire that destroyed a hay barn, a years supply of hay and hard feed along with the shelters tractor and all its maintenance equipment and tools. Damage is estimated to be over €500,000. Thankfully no animals or people were hurt. We are appealing for donations to secure food and storage for the more than 20 equine that live at the shelter and for tools and equipment as the maintenance barn was also destroyed.
