Der alte Zauberspiegel lügt nun einmal nicht, und so verbannt sie Schneewittchen kurzerhand in den Wald. Die trifft dort auf eine Bande kleinwüchsiger Kleinkrimineller (auch bekannt als die Sieben Zwerge). Gemeinsam schmieden sie den Plan, die Königin vom Thron zu stürzen.
Zwischen die Fronten gerät Prinz Andrew Alcott von Valencia (Armie Hammer), in den sich Schneewittchen auf den ersten Blick verliebt. Doch auch die Königin hat ein Auge auf den wohlhabenden Schönling geworfen. Schon stehen sich Stiefmutter und Stieftochter in einer doppelten Fehde um Prinz und Königreich gegenüber ...
