Well he's certainly got talent and I think he is a very good violinist...but Bach is definitely not his thing. That's okay though, because Bach isn't most violinists thing anyways. :P

@sormu16 You could be right. But from everything that I've learned, it's generally accepted that there wasn't vibrato. Or at least, not very wide vibrato. But I dunno, that's just what I learned from my teachers.

And about the chords, it's probably just not noticeable when the chords are broken...

@francesjaneleslie I'm pretty sure most people can play without it...they just choose not to because it's more comfortable for some. I am perfectly capable of playing without one, but I do simply because it's more comfortable.

Also observe where I said "pretty much" flawless. Of course there are flaws here and there. Who doesn't have flaws? But I know I have personally improved my technique a lot by observing the way she positions her elbows, etc.

The very beginning kind of put me off a little bit because of the whispery-singing...I didn't really like it at first. But by the end of the song it grew on me and I was SO glad I didn't just backspace in the first few seconds. Looks like you've landed yourself a new fan!

It's pretty hilarious how people can find the time and energy to try and trash talk bands like SOAD. A real music lover doesn't have time for such childish nonsense. You know...because we're too busy enjoying the music we love.
