В 1922-м году индийские археологи обнаружили руины древнего города Мохенджо-Даро. Пять тысяч лет назад это был большой центр удивительно развитой для той эпохи Хараппской культуры. Среди руин были разбросаны сплавившиеся куски глины и других минералов, которые в далеком прошлом затвердели и превратились в стекло. Анализ образцов, проведенный в Римском университете и в лаборатории Национального совета исследований Италии, показал, что оплавление произошло при температуре около 1500 градусов... Получается, что наша история просто движется по спирали, а мы помним лишь последний ее оборот.
