I love any thing VC10....I was a crew member on 10 squadron from 1985-1989 then 1993-1996 just couldn't get enough of them. Hoping to be at the dinner in 2012 for all ex VC 10 cabin crew as they will be withdrawing the trade in march of that year.

I served on 10 Squadron RAF for 7 years(1985-1989/1993-1996) as cabin crew. I loved the airplane. The power on take off was awesome.I loved the sound on take off and landing. The sound will soon be a thing of the past.

To say that the people were shipped in to supply labour means they don't belong there is crap. If you follow that arguement then all the nations in the Caribbean should have forced excile, as they were populated by people shipped in from Africa. ie slaves.
