Now THIS is violin playing!! A stunning rendition, on par with Kyung-Wha Chung's. Tone and projection are even more beautiful, and what a marvellously composed playing style. The instrument ideally matches the player. Superb.

Jackiw is an oustanding contemporary Mozart stylist. His approach is intelligent and unusually fresh. He breaks numerous "rules", and the music is better for it. Check out his duet playing with O'Neill - deeply enjoyable and of the highest level. Thanks for posting!

Maxim at his very best - flawless technique, imbibed in so much musicality it is almost frightening. He finds shades of expression here that go far beyond the virtuoso showpiece as which this is usually presented. A gorgeous rendition by one of the best violinists of our time.
