Hey girl,
I think the world has become too Politically Correct (PC). I don't believe there is anything wrong with being patriotic or loving your country. When I lived in London, my flatmates and I hung NZ, Australian and South African Flags all over our flat and in our windows. We wore the sporting colours of our nation when ever we went out - we were / are patriotic. However I was shocked to learn that if an english lad hung the saint george cross - the flag of england - in his window, he was considered a neo-nazi or facist. For us (Ozzies, NZ, SA) we thought this was a double standard - why could we do it, but the english couldn't.
