Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention

[Challenge Hack by Doomblade666] Shining Force 1 as it is better known, The Legacy of Great Intention is the English translation of the game that launched the Shining Force franchise - itself a subset of the Shining franchise that began with Shining in the Darkness. Shining Force is a 12-person team tactical simulation game like Fire Emblem that distinguishes itself in the art style and setting. When characters attack each other the game switches to a fullscreen view of the two combatants that was quite remarkable for the time the game came out. The game also blends typical RPG medieval tropes with a post-apocalyptic futuristic setting as the remnants of the Ancients, a highly-advanced technological civilization, frequently comes into play. This playthrough of the game has been modified by Doomblade666's Challenge Mode Hack in order to increase the game's difficulty.
