Thank you so much for this video dear Fuzzycerts ! Tuva's interpretation is full of emotion, one of the best I heard. More over she seems to have a very good knowledge of french that is pronounced perfectly... I am more reserved on the last part of the song (in english) where the orchestra spoils...

Thank you for posting this as it is a marvelous souvenir for me : I was there and the concert was magic : the sun veiling illuminated the "galerie des glaces" with all the colours of the rainbow... the music, the voice...all was sublime...excepted the heat as it was a very hot summer evening wit...

I agree with you : the singing is beautiful...BUT...is there any emotion in it ? I don't feel it at all and it's just a pity ! Please listen to Andreas Scholl's one : there are less ornements in the singing but we can hear the suffering of "his" Arsace in this aria. Sure M. Daniels is a good sing...
