The PSA, funded through the Mental Health Services Act, includes all the individuals featured in our Profiles of Hope 2011 series: Emmy award-winning actor Maurice Benard, Emmy award-winning actress/author Mariette Hartley, actor/musician Robert David Hall, three-time World Boxing Council champion Mia St. John, U.S. Vets CEO Steve Peck and TV show host/psychiatrist Clayton Chau.

The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) Public Information Office is proud to present its Emmy Award-winning original series, Profiles of Hope. The series has been broadcast on the LA County Channel as well as on PBS/KLCS-TV, Channel 58.
The set of 10-minute inspirational stories spotlights individuals who talk about how they overcame stigma and various obstacles to live successful and productive lives. This series features high-profile individuals sharing their own stories of achieving Hope, Wellness and Recovery.
The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is proud to present its monthly news show, Meeting of the Minds. The show includes a news segment (Mental Health Minute), a Message from the Director and an interview segment with mental health experts and/or individuals with lived experience.
