@kasyapa His left hand is amazing. Usually , pianists only pay attention to the right we are playing/listening op 10 no 2, but the bass is always important in CHopin because of Bach's influence in his work (like Op 10 no 1, example of Counterpoint)

I love Pogo's rendition, but you`re right: it seems that he only has one tone.

Argerich has an amazing colourful tone, full of dynamics and alternating an incredibly FF with an impressive PP.

That's not wierd at all. Ravel was unable to play his Concerto in G major and Balakirev had problems with some passages of Islamey.

Its a polyphonic problem. Try to study each melody of the left and hand as if there's only one melody. Then, add the two melodic lines (bass and chorus with the left hand) to the melodic line (octaves) of the right hand.

Liszt was Czerny's pupil who was Beethoven's pupil, so its obvious that Liszt was very influenced by his music. Yes, Liszt was very influenced by Chopin too (etudes, nocturnes...) but the beggining of Liszt's piano school was Beethoven.

Amazing. Couperin was years ahead of his time. Besides you can hear the barroque style in his work, the fact that he links ·"pictures" (tricoteuses, papillons...) to sounds remind me of an impressiosm piece.
