About this user

I am the president and founder of Boaz Productions; a multi-faceted media production company. We create instructional DVD's and other types of media. Our specialty is motion graphics, 3D design and special effects.

I'm also a martial artist and have been traveling down the path of Budo for many years. My primary art is aikido, but I currently study kyusho-jitsu, brazilian jiu-jitsu and the art of firearms. I have studied karate, kempo, arnis, silat, modern knife-fighting and it seems like tons of other things. I'm a certified defensive tactics instructor and work with law enforcement, military and other private agencies. In 2008 I founded the Independent Aikido Alliance which is what I term an "un-organization". This community is based on the idea that budo is a highly individual path but as humans we seek others along this path. Through training in aikido we come together to better not only ourselves, but our students as well.
