Thanks for viewing my music here on youtube. I am a 21-year-old pianist and composer with hopes of becoming a full time teacher/performer/composer.

1) Keyboards: Yamaha P-120 (light brown) P-155. (brown)
2) Began Piano: 8-years-old.
3) Current Schooling: Hartt School of music.
4) Major: Music Composition
5) Professor of Piano: David Westfall.
6) Sheets: I don't score any of my arrangements. If someone else transcribes it, I will post it for everyone.
7) Requests: I overlook them because there are simply too many.
8) Audio: While video taping, I am recording the audio on my piano. Afterward, I connect my piano to my computer using a basic audio cable (headphones input on my piano to the microphone input on my computer). Using the freeware 'Audacity,' I playback the recording on my piano whilst recording it onto audacity! I then sync the audio with the video.
9) Tips: I many times get asked how one improves their piano abilities. I believe the main thing is believing in yourself, and playing pieces which truly challenge your hands. If you choose pieces you would LOVE to learn that are out of your reach, and you give it your all.

Welcome to what has become my youtube project! To put it simply, once I began my piano lessons at the age of 8, I took it seriously, meaning, each week I practiced until I was positive I could play all of my assigned pieces. It is was my goal, and remains to be.
But HOW have I acquired such a community?
It all started in May of 2005 when I posted a video on youtube to share with a friend. A month or two later I noticed it was flooded with comments. From there on, I was addicted to the drug that is called YOUTUBE.
Sadly, 2 years later my first account under the username of "kyle556" was banned due to "copyright infringement."
I then opened this account, and diligently pursued a bundle of video projects each month.
My video related efforts heightened the growth of my channel, but the extreme popularity of youtube truly helped facilitate my views as well!
I now just wish I could present to you all by text, the actual level of respect I have for your help. Without the wonderful support, I could have never done it.

A suggestion though. I also have a P155, and found a function where you can save songs as a midi file onto a USB stick with the USB function. Just figured, for all the people who want to learn songs, you could make midi's out of the songs you record, then people can transcribe them in syntheisa, then all of your recordings can be spread around for the world to hear :) I love learning your songs,but theres not always sheets. Would be awesome if you could do this. PLEASE READ if anybody else read this, please find a way of getting Mr Landry to see this, so we can learn more of his songs, because i doubt he gets time to read all the comments.
