Why are people saying this has no benefits for turbos? Of course it does. The throttle plate has to be open or there can be no boost. Thus, keeping the throttle plate open while holding a rev keeps the turbo spooled and control over your launch revs. You guys don't know what you're talking about ...

...all turbos don't have as much boost at low rpm's. the turbo is the same as an 08+ evo so your entire explanation makes no sense.
