    for those of you who do not know, these kids had no musical experience until they got inyo a drum line. most professional musicians can not match yjeir skills. notr none of this is marching music. most of iy takes the form pf ballete.

    i saw him preform this number in 1956. nobody had heard of him in 1956 but the 500 kids at our armory went nuts. $5.00 admission was worth every penny and the memory will never be lost. fantastic music.
