The seventh book is about to release, and I thought I would make this little video about Snape and Lily, before it is revealed whether we were right all along or completely off-base (those of us that believe Snape's a good guy and that he loved Lily). This follows the well-popularised theory that Snape is protecting Harry and telling Lily over and over "I'm doing it for you, I'm doing it for you," because Harry embodies everything Snape loved and hated - Lily and James. Poor Snape! Imagine having to deal with that!
My sister's been blasting this song for the past week, but I've been wanting to use it for ages (I think it's another of wingfan24's suggestions as well) and the idea just sorta came to me a few days ago (yes... before I was done with "Missing" :/ )
The quotes came from five of the six books that were out at the time - they are not from one particular scene, they were gathered and constructed so that they told the story for me. :D
I used Sense and Sensibility clips out of pure laziness--I already had them ripped, Alan Rickman is in it, and Kate Winslet didn't look so different from Lily to make it useless... plus I love Colonel Brandon. Please don't flame me for this choice, especially considering the "old" (sepia) clips are only 15 seconds total.
And the neat little black and white sequence at the end is all the times (or as I prefer to call them, PROOF) that Snape protected Harry all along. And I found that shading on accident. :)

All right, well, this video is the result of my frustration with trying to find a perfect Snape song. (I want to make a general Snape video that's a lot like the one I made with Lucius, but I'm still having trouble figuring out a song.) Normally, I don't do anything near comedic in any way, but due mostly to the fact that the search for Snape's song is still ongoing, I made this video.
The song is from The Lion King, and the video is about Severus Snape, and how he never really belonged with all the Order and everything. People always seemed to distrust him, and especially at the end of Book Six, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. When Harry had told the rest of the Order what had happened on the Astronomy Tower, they were definitely ready to believe that Snape was evil, a loyal Death Eater, etc.
Oh, and another thing, this video actually has credits at the end, so they're not posted below like I usually have them. (The list of casting and clips, however, is still posted.)

NB. I know a lot of people think the idea of Hermione/Severus unpleasant and disturbing. But it isn't really so bad. Severus Snape is about 38 at the end of 7th book and Hermione is (or will be) about 18. That's not so bad. I know some people get confused when they see younger pictures of Hermione with an older Snape. But please think beyond that, when she's of age and he's only 38 (not 61, like an actor who plays this role :-D ).
