About kw47wa
Its my favorite time of the yr, my boys are back in town. The Thundering, thrilling U.S Navy Blue Angels. Thanks to everyone who has been so kind, thoughtful & endearing to me through out everything. It's been a rough, treacherous trail for months. So my love and thanks to everyone of you here and especially myspace! HUGS & KISSES.....Even tho I have moved the 2 videos back, this pg is still dedicated to my Mom. I lost her just a few weeks ago and have made a nice tribute to her on myspace. We lost my Daddy 40 yrs ago, Sept 15th 1969. I was barely 8. At long last they are reunited in heaven. Rest in peace Mom & Dad, you always be loved & missed, no tears in heaven, just here.... I add some new videos here & there! So, hang out, take a look around at the wide variety of videos and enjoy your visit. Thanks for stopping by!!. Have fun listening to the diverse music, old TV clips, ETC. You can still enjoy all the nostalgic stuff. So hang in there and go with the flow, Thank you, Karen

About this user
I'm using this space to address an issue that is very close to my heart. Since March 9th 2007, many people have made their own tributes for Brad Delp, not only the lead singer for Boston for 31 + years, but on the first 3 cd,s it is his voice alone that you hear singing lead and all of the back ground harmony. Pretty amazing. He was man we loved for who he was on the inside not just what he was on the outside. Family, friends & fans around the world were sadly shocked as the news spread and I heard many people say, what could a rock legend like that have to be so depressed about. Depression has no boundaries and is a hard place to climb out of once you have spiraled down so far. It is no different than drug addiction or alcoholism and millions suffer from it and it is a very lonely, frightening, isolating place to be. Friends & family awkwardly try to help, but don't really know what to do or say, others just say " get over it", if it were that damned easy we'd still have Brad here and there wouldn't be millions of heart broken fans still making tributes nearly two years later. If you know someone who is suffering from depression and/or may be suicidal, let them know you love them & that they are not alone. Get them help and stay by there side thru out it. DO NOT IGNORE IT! If you or someone you love needs help, get it now don't wait until it's to late. Contact 1-800-suicide or 1-800-273-talk or contact www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org. PLEASE!! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Karen

Interests
Listening to music, watching 70's rock videos, searching for the long lost pop favorites. I like to swim, hike, travel, spend time with my friends and meet new friends on the internet who have similar interests. I have recently been enjoying working on projects here, such as creating channels on youtube and have met some very nice people. I also like to read, love most sports. I have also loved the US Navy Blue Angels since I was about 12 and never miss a show here in Seattle, so that is why you will see a tribute to LCDR Kevin "Kojak" Davis, opposing Blue Angel # 6, who died in a tragic crash April 21st 2007. March & April were not happy months, losing Brad Delp, my idol since 1976 with the best voice ever in ROCK, then the crash Of LCDR Davis who is flying in heaven now.
