I'm a Rapper 1st, Producer 2nd.
I started reciting other rappers whole verses around the age of 10/11 this was before I wanted to do music for a living. Around the age of 12 I was quite fond of Jay-Z and I think subliminally I chose the name K-vel as it was similar, and also original. I first got on stage in jr. high reciting someone elses lyrics just to see the response I got which was very positive. This told me I had it in me to do it and the sound of a musician however someone called me out on it which compelled me to write my first rap at 13 :p

After middle school and entering High School at age 14 I started writing more. Got used to the idea of rapping and started rehearsing what I would write in front of my peers and let it be heard a bit more. Around this age I was susceptible to writing more of the mainstream stuff as I was young at the time and often just saying words with no meaning, and about things I never did. Being as I was still new to it I had a limited audience as I would only let a few people hear me.

At age 15 as my writing progressed I started developing my own style. I picked the decision of swaying from the crowd and saying what I know and who I am. I got more open to the idea of doing music and letting my voice be heard. This is around the point I started realizing that I have potential and noticing I was better than some of my competition who got more praise. I began writing what I would call "Flows" which are whole instrumental raps which continued for as long as I can for the whole beat. I also began the process of recording songs and letting tons of people hear my music and more open to criticism, however as a result of me becoming more musically inclined my grades began dropping.

As I continue, at 16 in 2007 was when I first discovered fruity loops and started making beats of my own and I gained more love for music. During the stage of 16-17 I slowed on writing music and instead started making beats which I figured out quickly I was slightly natural at it. I started cranking out beat after beat after beat. This was somewhere I could put out all this creativity I had inside I wasn't aware of. I began writing again about mid-age of 17. I started changing my style a bit but keeping my past self. I was old enough to realize not to follow what they do.

As the story goes I've been working on both my rapping and producing career both at the same time. I have a high respect for what I now do, that I vowed to do and become involved in music as a way to give back to the listeners in the condition of today's music. I can't promise you the rebirth of Hip-Hop, but I can promise you the evolution. Thank you for ALL my supporters! I TRULY Appreciate you!!!
