My Video Campaign to Free Gilad Shalit
Gilad Shalit turned 25 on August 28, 2011 and that was when it really came to my attention that something needed to be done. After that, this youtube and facebook campaign began. It didn't matter how many people told me that Gilad Shalit was dead. I felt that there NEEDED to be a change. Don't ever listen when people are telling you that you care too much about something that can't be changed. On October 11, 2011 - after years of silence and unanswered questions about Gilad Shalit - the world finally heard the long awaited news that Gilad would be released from terrorist captivity to come home. On October 18, 2011 he came home!!!

I love to take pictures and little videos of anything and everything. Usually when I make videos from my own life, I go back and edit/create a video after finding some old inspirational footage of something that was mundane at the time, but means a lot, looking back...
I've never taken any class on editing, so don't judge me too harshly, but I create these from my heart. I believe that in this world consumed by technology, videos are very important. A video you make has the potential to reach anyone, anywhere in the world. These sorts of opportunities, for just anyone to have their message heard, weren't around a few years ago. This new technology reaches beyond borders... So reach someone else. Reach out with love and peace. Give hope. Share smiles.
With so many language barriers, theological differences, and cultural ideologies, it's so hard for people to truly understand one another with words. Or images. But combine the two — use a video to share a feeling. That's what I find unique about videos.
Bring love, share love. Bring peace, share peace. Teach peace. Don't just be another name and face, on this planet for a moment, with just a few years to make a difference in this scary world. Kung Fu (panda girly)
I originally made this youtube channel ( kungfupandagirly ) to upload fun 'fight' videos that my friends and I made, just messing around. We are karate / kung fu / jiu jitsu ninjas, with a little brazilian jiu jitsu thrown in there... and I think some of my friends do krav maga ... anyway, I never ended up adding too many 'Kung Fu' videos but I hope you enjoy!
Note: I do not believe in violence... Only self defense and standing up for others!
