For my own reference Lick 89 takes me to March 4th

Why do so many Gypsy Jazz guitarists insist on being such snots. I've been looking at people's videos playing GJ in lots of styles, lots of levels, including some all time great players, and without fail there is a handful of people making snotty remarks about how it is not "real gypsy" and how no real gypsy would do it this or that way or play this song or use this chord and how they all know so much better than everyone else - if you are one of those people who takes themselves so seriously you think you have the right to snot off and be rude just because someone doesn't do something exactly how you think it should be done than you have a pathetic life, and I don't care to learn from you. I'd rather spend my time exploring music from multiple angles than be some stuck up snot obsessed with being a "real gypsy"

Andy - not really - I just have a lot of time on my hands :0) I started doing these for the very reason that all the musicians I was playing with had better ears than me, so I made this a part of my daily practice routine - they are getting better, and by the time I get to 365 hopefully I can have the ears of my friends Kailin Yong and Brian Dean :0)
