All in a nutshell, things that are 'dangerous'. Things that other people dont think that a minor should have but they do not realize that the particular minor in question has a father who has taught the minor a way of life on how to look at 'dangerous things'. Safety, safety safety. Because I am a minor, it is automatically believed that I do not possess the ability to handle a gun or knife safely. I have been trained since the age of seven with a Smtih & Wesson Model 19 (pictued in backround) chambered for .357 magnum. Muzzling, gun not pointed in a safe direction, walking downrange without strict permission of every shooter (my brother) and rangemaster ( my dad), would automatically result in 10 pushups on the spot. We learned quickly. I grew interest in the firearms world. Soon I knew more about guns (in particular) and could shoot better than the man that taught me. My dad served 12 years as a Navy Corpsman and another 9 years as a Staff Sgt. in the National Guard. I think that I could know enough by now to not be classified along with the keyboard commandos that see a gun on tv and think that that is the coolest gun on earth. I despise those people. True, when watching tv I can name the gun, usually the company whom which produces it, usual magazine capacity, caliber, my personal views on it, history, and general outstanding featues. No, Im not one of those people who just sits around and looks a fourms all day. I do look at forums once in a while to see if some people have been having the same problems that I am having with a particular gun (that is in the posession of my mom untill I am of legal age to own). Ive shot XDs (not impressed ) in 40, Norinco SKS, WASR 10-63, Glock 23 in .40, Remington 870 12 & 20 gauge, Saiga 7.62x39, Kimber Pro Carry II, Marlin .22 Mag, Ruger 10/22, Charter Arms Bulldog, Berretta 92G, S&W J Frames, S&W M&P, Colt AR 15 (yes, I know, an actual Colt!!!!) Ruger Mk (various), Winchesters (Rifles of different calibers, favorite being .35 Whelen), Remmingtons (22, 22-50), Heritage .38 Single Action (sweet case hardened finish on it), Charles Daly 20 guage, Cobra Arms .38 Derringer, Sears-Roebuck .22, Savage .410, Heritage .22/.22 mag, S&W Model 19 (favorite handgun that I have ever fired, ever), S&W Model 19, Henry Golden Boy .22, a few types of bows, Savage 7mm Mag, and probably many, many, many more. No, I do not own all of these guns. In fact, I do not own any guns or am I in the posession of any firearms (untill im of legal age). Most of the above are either my dads, grandfathers, or friends of eithers. I go out and decide wether I like a gun or not, not just look at what someone said about a firearm wether to like it or not. Thats just me.
