Philipp Boë is a performer and director for theatre and circus.
He was born in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland, where he still lives these days.

He trained at "Fool Time - Centre for Circus Skills and Physical Theatre" (GB-Bristol), at the "Centre National des Arts du Cirque" (F-Châlons-sur-Marne), at the "Laban Centre for Movement and Dance" (GB-London) and at the "Ecole Philippe Gaulier" (London).

He directed amongst others:   „Don Quijote - the making of dreams (Biel, 2008), "Damioscha" by Monique Schnyder (which won Schweizer Innovationspreis 2009), "UFO", Zirkus Chnopf (Zürich 2007), "PuuPääT" (Wohlen 2006), Lisa Gretler: "Pianomorte" (2005), Le Site Cra: "Schlag" (Paris 2003), Anam Cara (Biel, 2001).

Since 2005, he is on tour all over the world with his physical theatre pieces "Mémoire de la Nuit" (which won him the Central European Stage Award 2005) and „Somnonaut.
