About this user
It's simple, all you have to do is love and cherish animals, and you will get nothing but love back in return. Never accept cruelty to animals, EVER!

In answer to one FAQ; Yes the above channel ident picture of Charlie is real, it's not altered in any way, it's all him! He was about 1/10th of a second through a yawn and you can just see his nictitating
eye lids starting to close from the sides. It was just a lucky yawn shot that matches the wallpaper perfectly.

About Friends. I'll accept / invite anyone who leaves a comment that reflects a love of animals, and anyone who has a site showing a love of animals will get an invite from me. And to be honest, I'm hoping the very fact that you're checking out Charlie's page means you love animals.
Charlie doesn't just want numbers in the friends colum, he wants the sort of person that simply can't pass a pet shop or supermarket without popping in for the odd pack of Cat / Dog / Yourpet treats, so If you're just a band wanting to get your numbers up, Sorry Guys!

I've had a lot of mail asking about why I start everything with "Charlie Says".
Well if you are wondering about the
'Charlie Says' thing, it comes from a
series of early 1970's British Public Information Films involving a boy and his mad ginger tom cat, helping people to be safe. Since watching them as a kid I have always wanted my own Charley cat.
35+ Years on, I got my Charlie who is just as mad and fun as the one in the films. You can see one of the original 1970's films here: (32 Seconds),

And the BBC reporting on how loved they were,

These old films are remembered with much affection in the UK and thats why Charlie says!
And yes I know they are spelt differently.

If you are able, please try to leave a little food out for homeless city animals who could be relying on you for their next meal. Please help if you can.
Thank you from Charlie.
