Technique: Alternate Picking
This is a good exercise to develop grooves and hands synchro.
Practice (with the metronome at reasonable speed) some groups of 4**** 16th notes muted with the left hand and release
**** 4 strokes.4notes ring - 4notes mute, so on...
In the tablature, the ex:1 is scored without muting and the ex:2 is the same exercise with mute (x) signs.
To make it groove, we play A7 chord with hammer-on. It is always downstroke- upstroke with a pause for the hammer-ons notes of course. If it helps, pick all the "hammer ons" notes untill you feel easy.
Hint: Practice at beginning only the first bar until you master the right hand motion.
