Hey Ya'll, My name is Krystyna, I am 22 years old, and I've always loved to sing, since as far back as I can remember. LOL. I grew up in South Florida with my Mom, Kathi, my Dad, David, and my big brother, Nick. Although my folks divorced when I was 5, they still both had a healthy divorced relationship so they could raise me together. My family is the most important thing to me, they are my everything. Growing up in an Italian/Cuban household made for a very interesting life. When I was 17 my mom and I went to Alabama for the American Idol Audtions, of course me and 10,000 other people in that city did not make it. And as my mother said there are reasons for everything in life, which really, I couldn't understand, until that November after Idol my Grandmother, Rose Palmisano, was diagnosed with lung cancer. We took care of her for 2 months and then she passed away on Jan of 2007, a.k.a. my 18th birthday, which was one of the WORST days of my life! :'(. I guess she wanted me to never forget her every year on my birthday! But as she was one of my biggest fans I know that she will be one of my angels, always looking down on me. After that incident, I lost my Uncle Richard and my Grandpa Eno, all within months of each other, so needless to say I was losing my family left and right in 2007, and it definitely ws not a great year! After all of that, my mother and I went to Jacksonsville Fl to try again for American Idol, 2 years later, and again, along with the rest of the cattle call, I didn't make it. Once again my mother said to me that everything happens for a reason. Sure enough, shortly after coming home from Jacksonville my grandfather Salvatore Palmisano was diagnosed with cancer of the voice box. My mom and I took care of him until he passed away, Sept. of 2009, another heart wrenching day for me. But I now know that I do have quite a lot of angels/fans in heaven, and they will always be there watching over me. The easiest way for me to handle everything was to write, and sing! My genre: Country/Pop. I love country music and I have quite a few people I look up too in that genre! Singing is my escape, and I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I enjoy singing/performing. I really do, one day, hope to touch many lives with my music because that right there would just make up for ALL the bad I went through in my life! Thanks and God Bless! XOXO
