Ok ive managed to work out the brush setting on the mask. It needs to be set on EXCLUSION in the "mode brush" drop down box. This is the only way it will work on my version of Elements 6. Why it works on normal in the video iam not sure as mine just paints on the image.

Hello Rob. Your camera is a true rangefinder :-). When you look through the view finder you SHOULD see the two images line up inside the bright yellow spot, if not then yours is busted. Also the camera does have auto metered flash via the guide number selector which provided an automatic apert...
