Willie is an immortal of music. He does this song beautifully, and we all know he wrote it. But Patsy's version is the definitive version, as Willie himself knows.

Not as good a singer as her fans think she is. However, a better singer than most of her detractors think she is, and better than most of the top 40 pop crap she competes with. Overall, she's pretty good.

How many "cheesy pop" groups have the balls to do a song that pretty much destroys their carefully cultivated image? Yes, they are pop to the core, but there's something more there - probably why they're the second-best selling group off all time, next to...yeah you-know-who it is.

Some think this is Dylan's best song. I could go through his catalog and make a strong case for this being his 30th, or 40th, or even 50th best song. Both cases would have merit. That's just how amazing Dylan is.

A great artist in her own right, and a much better singer than Dylan...but in the scheme of things...she ain't even close, and she knows it.

A pretty, mindless, throwaway ditty from Roy Orbison made shortly before his unfortunate death just when he was gaining perhaps the most popularity of his career in a combeback. Which equals probably a better song than most of the grammy winners of the last 20 years. One of the true greats.

Roy's voice didn't (usually) have the subtlety that Art's did, but he is perhaps the only other popular male singer that could hit the notes that Art did with feeling and confidence.

Every single song Justin Bieber sings is so heavily autotoned that it barely resembles a human voice. Without this technology, he would probably sound like a frog trying to croak the national anthem. I don't hate Justin Bieber, but he is a product, not an artist or musici...

Paul's voice has held up better, no doubt. But then again, Art had a lot farther to fall voice-wise (and they both still kick ass).

Pink has done remarkably goo covers of both Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin (although neither of their songs was the original either, but the definitive versions). Therefore, she is forgiven for the hip/hop/pop/top 40 dreck she has produced, and is A-OK in my book.

Who cares about the video game, as entertaining as it might be. This is simply one of, if not THE best, Stones' songs. Which also makes it one of the finest rock n' roll songs of all time. Thus endeth the lesson.

A talented guy, sure. But the Stones' best music, in my opinion, came in the early 70's, after Brian was dead.
