everyone in my family has been a marine...at least all the guys have...as for me...i want to go to West Point...but that means no dance :(

dance is the expression of emotion through the rhythm of a song and the beat of your heart pounding rapidly togather in perfect harmony. it tells a story of who you are more than you could ever translate into words. from the quiet, intimate moments where the audience can hear your heavy breathing, to the graceful moments when you land without a sound, to the moments when you are moving rapidy across the floor and then spinning on your head as the crowd roars, to the glorious moments when you are aknowledged for your outstanding performance, to the moments you have teaching your friends. although there are many achs and pains that come with the title "DANCER" i would not give it up for the world! i dance because that is who i am. i dance becuase it is like a poem. you can either choose to keep it to yourslf or you can show it to the world. but if you show the world you will change not only your life but everyone elses as well!

i wish i talked a little less and listened a little more. i wish i understood. i wish i could help you and everyone, anyone. i wish i never learned to hate or envy or obsess. i wish you never lost interest in me. i wish life was just as easy as when i came into it. i wish i told the people i love that i actually do love them. i wish they told me. i wish people meant what they said and said what they meant. i wish it was easier to be a good person. i wish being "cool" was not the only thing that we thought about. i wish people never lied to me and i had the guts to never lie to them. i wish i never saw the things that i have seen. i wish you never treated me that way. i wish i were as strong as i pretend to be. i wish i did not care. i wish life did not revolve around grades and school and the possibilities of failure for the rest of our lives if we do not do the amazing RIGHT NOW. i wish that saying sorry could solve all of my problems. i wish you and me..we could make more sense. i wish my life would just begin..

p.s. I LOVE TO WRITE AND PHOTOGRAPHY!

I AM A HUGGEE-OOO NERD! :)

I recognize that I'm damaged.. I sympathize that you are too. I wanna breathe without feeling so self-conscious.. But it's hard when the world's staring at you.

everyone has a story. some become excuses. some are never heard. some never believed. some pull us through. while others suck us in. all i know is that
stories give us reasons...reasons for our actions, our thoughts, and our lives.

it seems that we are lost...lost in life, lost in love, lost in truth. i could go on...but you get the point, WE ARE LOST! and then every teenager is going through life searching, agonizing, hoping to find themselves, or love, or truth...but then i say...what is wrong with being lost for a while? so i will go off on my... own, leaving the compass, the map, the searching at home.

i used to wish that people could see the kind of person i used to be...because maybe that person was a better me or maybe that person had more for them to love...but then i realized i have changed..everyone says that change is a bad things and they will never change but, they have and i have. i have grown...i know that who i am may not be perfect but longing to go back to when life was soo easy is a fools dream...now i am not saying i am not a fool, because i am...but i am a fool in a fools world. just being me is fine and dandy! :) change happens and i am embracing it!

so i sat down and wrote...not what i was assigned or the crap i had been dealing out to eveyone around me..but what was real and meant something. it did not have to be double spaced or properly constructed nor was it full of lies and insecurities...no, it was simply me and that in itself was a beautiful thing...i have ...found it again; that thing that keeps me going, i have found it and this time, i am not letting go.

My mind often wanders from reality to my desire, and I find it hard to retrieve it, back to the daily fire. It lets me keep my sanity, by planning for what might be. But, I go a little overboard, often getting lost in dreams. So far I've found no guidelines, other than those imposed by me. Still these grow vague and disappear, when I think of what could be. I search for a good dividing line between desire and hopeless dreams. But society provides no answers, and I ponder what's too extreme...

insecurities: we all have them...some people just suck at dealing with them! :P

I am going back. Back to where I was. Back where I left myself.

i know where i am going...i don't need very much...it's in between here and there, a world of change, and such..

and in the middle of the night i have a breakdown of sorts regret creeping in..momma told me not till marriage, daddy has already grabbed his gun...LORD, i hope that boy knows how to run..

there is nothing to fear...not right now...not right here..we have all seen bad things, things we should never have to see, things that mold, shape, and ruin our minds....but we should not fear these things. WE should stand up and show them who is boss... i fear nothing..

living is not the issue...living means excisting and that is simple..to just be alive... it is learning how to LIVE that we all could work on.. learning that the little things that we take for granted mean the very most and some things that we let ruin our days mean absolutely nothing in the end... learning that life is way too short to not be happy and love the people around us... learning that feeling that you love someone is NOT as fullfilling as telling them... and learning to smile because it can make the world a MUCH better place... :)

the road not taken is the one i choose...not overworked or overused...this road i take, i carve myself and one day i will look back and find someone else...someone whos path has now crossed mine and it is there that my footsteps will no longer imprint a singular line...but instead, the journey will be devised as a path of two...with a passage for me and one for you! ♥

doors are always closing, on your hopes, on your dreams, and even on you...but if you catch a glimpse of what lies beyond that door before it is closed, it is easier to find a window that will lead you to the path you had once followed...only this time, you have seen what can happen if for even an instant you question yourself.

the highest measurement of strength is shown only through ones outlook, nothing more and nothing less.

happiness is the secret to all beauty.
there is no beauty that is attractive without happiness.

in order to find that of which lies beyond your dreams, you must first dream.
