About Me:
A native of Charleston, SC, Karoline's voice started to make an impact at around age three, when she began to deliver impromptu versions of her favorite tunes while in the supermarket or elsewhere shopping with her startled mother. Mom remained nonplussed, but relaxed upon seeing that the other patrons were delighted with the performances, and thus began Karoline's career as an entertainer.
Around this same time she was pulled onstage at one of pop singer Amy Grant's performances, where she also wowed onlookers.
In 2010 Karoline was introduced to veteran RCA Victor and Moonwatcher producer Joe Taylor, and, as a result of that meeting, is now recording her debut album with him and a star-studded array of artists, writers and engineers
that includes award winning singer/songwriter Lee Nestor, world famous drummer Tony "Thunder" Smith (Lou Reed, Santana, Jeff Beck), in demand bassist Sean O'Bryan Smith (Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Anna Wilson), and Grammy winning engineer Steve Churchyard (Katy Perry, Shakira, Sheryl Crow).
The song list includes new titles from acclaimed songwriter Jeff Franzel (Taylor Swift, *NSYNC, Clay Aiken) as well as original songs co-written by Karoline herself. Along with her distinct take on all these songs, Karoline's main influences can be detected in all the tracks. From Aretha to Avril to Adele, it's all in there.
