ordinary guy with a profound love for hip hop.im from greece.i strongly believe that hip hop this last decade has lost its path.the tunes suck big time and above all the lyrics have turned from urban poetry with food for thought into senseless rhymes like "im the meanest,i sell dope,i fukk hoes" etc.talib kweli and chuck d rhyme about education as a way to improve community's quality of life or they gave us litle poetry gems about everyday life in the ghetto and outside the ghetto.g unit needs a ghetto so they can run it and sell drugs to their brothers.rap could have easily become a powerfull "weapon" that would ispire and provoke massive changes.but the record companies(this is just my opinion,and yes i know it will sound ridiculous)which ofcourse are all owned by rich white folks and with the instructions of the cia(maybe) started to flood the market with useless crap instead of publishing cd's with quality both in the lyrics and the music production.if the tv will only play crank that and lolipop,chances are that even though these tunes are pure garbage and the lyrics are just senseless crap they will sell.i strongly believe that there is a certain reason why dead prez will never sell as much as soulja boy.if you want to pass a message to a teenager and give him a book,he will probably read it once and thats it.but if you give your message in a cd he will listen to it again and again and he will understand exactly its meaning.and white america simply cannot afford youth with genuine knowledge of whats going on and what needs to be done.so they say the new hit is crank that in order to fool the kids and make sure they dont go and listen to chuck d or immortal technique.untill the late 90's hip hop gave food for thought and pure knowledge.now it has turned to clearly a way to just have some silly fun.the strange thing is that even the tunes are now plain garbage.how can millions think that crank that is a nice song to hear?isnt this a sign that bill o' reilly type of americans have clearly won this "battle"?what i cant understand is why the american youth prefers to listen to lil wayne instead of krs one.i mean both the music and the lyrics of krs are at least a 100 times better.and what is funny is that while lil wayne outsells almost anyone in usa,in europe hip hop fans still prefer wu tang and pace won than soulja boy.i grew up in my teens listening to talib kweli,nas,public enemy etc.the reason i gather whatever hip hop video i like is for anyone who would appreciate to see gathered in one channell lots of quality hip hop tunes.since i will add constantly its inevitable that some vids will be added 2 or even more times.please excuse me and do excuse my weird english.im not english or american and mistakes are natural.SINCE I LIVE IN GREECE IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO FIND ANY NEW ARTISTS THAT KEEP THE HIP HOP FLAG STILL HIGH.IM SURE THERE IS A HEALTHY UNDERGROUND OR SIMPLY NOT SO KNOWN HIP HOP SCENE IN THE STATES SO PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY ACTS TO SUGGEST PLEASE DO SO AND I WILL BE GRATEFULL.@@@@@@@@@@@Η ΠΑΡΑΚΜΗ ΤΟΥ "COMMERCIAL" ΧΙΠ ΧΟΠ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΑΝΤΙΛΗΠΤΗ ΚΑΙ ΣΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ.ΤΑ ΠΙΤΣΙΡΙΚΙΑ ΓΕΝΙΚΑ ΑΚΟΥΝΕ ΛΙΛ ΓΟΥΕΙΝ ΚΑΙ ΕΜ ΣΙ ΠΕΝΗΝΤΑΛΕΠΤΟ(JAY Z SE LIVE..."IM ABOUT THE DOLLAR,WHO THE FUCK IS 50CENT?").ΠΟΛΟΙ ΟΜΩΣ ΑΚΟΥΝΕ ΚΑΛΗ ΜΟΥΣΙΚΗ.ΣΕ ΟΣΟΥΣ ΑΡΕΣΕΙ ΤΟ ΧΙΠ ΧΟΠ ΕΙΔΙΚΑ ΜΕΧΡΙ ΤΟ 99 ΜΑΖΕΥΩ ΚΟΜΑΤΙΑ ΝΑ ΥΠΑΡΧΟΥΝ ΣΕ ΜΙΑ PLAYLIST ΚΑΘΕ ΦΟΡΑ.
