@DarkUserSnake That's ok the caddy is still going to be cheaper to maintain than any German car. Not to mention it starts out 30g cheaper and at LEAST equals their performance. You can keep your German money pit, that means more caddies for the rest of us.

@derbigpr500 the CTS is also half the price of its German competitors....sometimes fooling someone into luxury is better than making them pay for it, and i think Cadillac sales reflect that.

im surprised that these cars are that similar. i thought the Sorento was on the same level as a highlander, 4runner, or even pathfinder, and the equinox was on the level of a rav4 or CRV., very interesting. i like them both but i think i have more faith in the chevy, as long as it had 4 wheel drive.

i wonder if this compact SUV has the same platform as the chevy equinox/Cadillac SRX. if so the states definitely got the better looking car. i don't hate this captiva but it sure looks like a cross between a Mitsubishi and a Subaru.

what ever happened to the pink caddies in the fifties and sixties. Iv seen a matalic pink SRX, not so good but a pink CTS with a white and black interior COULD be cool.

if its true that GM isn't going to produce this car than they are making a huge mistake. even if it doesn't turn a profit it will turn a lot of head and change a lot of minds. Cadillac still needs to rebuild its reputation and this car would (in my opinion)greatly help that pursuit.

i think the real comparison is between a Lincoln MKS and a buick lacross. the CTS is amied at taking out the germans and to be more appelling to custermers around the world.

@ideastoday actully my brother drives a 91 blazer. the only things its needed was a new paint job but that varys depending on where you live, and it also needed the dash riped out for some fuse problem but those where both reacently done and hes owned it since it was new.

all that aside it can be quite fun to drive, its comfortable and for the almost three years that we'v had it we have had no major problems to speek of. i think the rendezvoue had a lot of potential to become a fantastic crossover, but i also think it's replacesment (enclave) is well worth its pri...
