Re. The Nerves. I remember the day I walked into a record shop in West London, Looked at the singles all blue tacked to the wall. Saw this and took it down without asking, pushed my way to the counter and dropped a quid on the counter and just said "I don't need a bag". It was the last copy. Same day I bought a Ramones 45. It was a week after I bought Anarchy by The Sex Pistols, so it must be December 1976. I saw a review of The Nerves in "Bomp" magazine or something similar. I just knew I had to have it. Me and my friends were one of the first to have Blondies first album on import. Met Debbie & Chris after the Ham' Odeon gig at there hotel. They were supporting Television. That was Spring '77. Phew! What a year.
