In the name of Creator,Most Grecious,Most Merciful

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
The parable of His Light is as if there were niche And withing it a lamp, the lamp enclosed in grass.
The glass as it were a briliant star.
Lit from a blessed Tree, An olive,neither of the East Nor of the West.
Whose oil is well-nigh Luminous.
Though fire scarce touched it
Light upon Light!
Allah does guide Whom He will to His Light
Allah does set force Parables for men.
And Allah Does know all things

慈悲あまねく慈愛深いアッラーの御名において

アッラーは天地の光である。
彼の光を譬えれば燈を置いた、壁がんのようなものである。
燈はガラスの中にある。ガラスは輝く星のよう。
祝福されたオリーブの木に灯されている。
その木は東方の産でもなく西方の産でもなく、この油は、火がほとんど触れないのに光を放つ。
光の上に光を添える。
アッラーはお好みの者を、彼の御光に導かれる。
アッラーは人々のために、比喩を挙げられる。
本当にアッラーはすべてのことを知っておられる。
