I helped constructing the Thompson-Yarra tunnel. I wove carpets in Sydney and I assembled Holdens in Elizabeth. I owe many thanks to the Australian Red Cross who employed me as a janitor for some time. And don't forget the period with Elcoma in Artarmon. The job I liked best, however, was with Australian Associated Press in George Street, Sydney.
