[12:110] And We sent not before thee as Messengers any but men to whom We sent revelation, from among the people of the towns. Have they not then travelled in the earth so that they should see what was the end of those before them? And surely, the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah. Will you not then use you understanding?
"Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and good, and to Us you will be returned." (21:35)
[23:115] "Did you think that we created you in vain; that you were not to be returned to us?"

" كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ "
Meaning: "You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf and forbid Al-Munkar and you believe in Allah." [Surah Al Imran 3:110]
And He (swt) also says;
" وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ "
Meaning: "The believers, men and women, are Auliya (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'ruf from Al-Munkar." [Surah At Taubah 9:71]
O mankind!
We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female
And made you into nations and tribes
That ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other).
Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you.
And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).
At-Tirmidhi Hadith quoted from the Book Riyah-us-Saliheen Book No. 1 Chapter 55: Excellence of Ascetic life. Hadith No. 479 page 434
''O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.''
'Verily in the creation of the heavens and earth and in the alternation of the night and day are signs (that show Allah's great power) for those who have intelligence (who care to ponder). They who remember Allah while standing, sitting and lying down, and they think about the creation of the heavens and the earth (so that they may be able to see Allah's greatness in this) .(Then, amazed by Allah's creation, they say) "Our Rabb, You have not created this without a purpose! (These things certainly display Your Power and greatness and have not been created in vain) we glorify Your purity so save us from the punishment of the Fire..."
Surah Aal Imraan, Verses 190
Here is something that I came across that really touched my heart:
"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends"
May Allah (Swt) grant this ummah strength, taqwa, iman, and unity.
In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful.
"God is the light of the heavens and the earth.
The likeness of this light is a niche
in which there is a lamp,
the lamp in a glass,
the glass like a glittering star,
kindled from a blessed olive tree,
an olive that is neither of the east nor the west,
the oil of which could shine without being touched by fire.
Light upon light;
God guides whom He please. "
- Quran 24:35
