I don't know where you guys are getting this from but she does NOT sound black. She sounds exactly like what she is....a white woman trying to sound black. There is nothing wrong with that I guess, but she doesn't sound black by any means

It's also about not looking plain. If a wedding is a SPECIAL OCCASION then DUH you are gonna wear makeup and a nice dress and heels. It has nothing to do with insecurities. Makeup is not going to help you if you are ugly. If you're ugly.....you're just ugly and makeup can't hide that

@reetee13 That is untrue. PLENTY of black women have long hair...people just assume that it's a weave when it's not. Check your facts before making statements

What is hilarious is that they actually think we wear that mess. I'm black and I don't dress like that

@itslollipopbitch I just ordered my third wig from Miss wigs and all of them have been full lace. If you know how to wash and care for the hair, it holds up well over time. I wear mine nonstop for about 5 months straight until it is time to get another. The good thing about Miss Wigs is the price...

@CheezInspector That IS her/our natural state. Defining the curl THAT IS ALREADY THERE is not manipulating the curl pattern. When hair of ANY texture is dry, it looks frizzy instead of curly. Add moisture and it does its thing naturally. And that goes for all curly/wavy hair types
