Kno.e.sis on the Web

Semantic Web is one of the key enablers and technologies in this Web 3.0 that can aid in going from data to meaning. Here at Kno.e.sis (the Ohio Center of Excellence in Knowledge-enabled Computing), we research, develop, and apply semantic and knowledge-enabled techniques. Our work addresses the challenges faced in the traditional Web; Social Web; Sensor Web; Mobile, Services, and Cloud Computing. Our work is multidisciplinary by design; addressing significant challenges in domains such as health care and life sciences; defense and intelligence; and, many more. We are among the largest academic groups in Semantic Web and associated topics in the world, and are equally influential.
