Very close to Arabic, but strangely enough perhaps, it seems even closer to Hebrew in some ways. The numerals are closer to Hebrew than Arabic, "barukh" & "your" suffixes (-kha, -khi) are more Hebrew (&Aramaic) than Arabic. And on Tigrinya Language on wikipedia I see more than a few examples that...
