This was the first song I EVER learned at church when I was VERY little. It's always been so special to me. So simple yet so profound. David sung it so beautifully and I really felt the strength of his testimony. Yes, God has sent him sent him to earth to do marvelous things.

They don't make fluff pieces like they used to. Seriously, fluff from the 1990s was actually gripping and not just the boring, same old stuff. I hadn't seen this one in quite some time, but believe me, I have never erased my '96 Olympics VHS tapes (and never will).

LOVE IT! Other solo renditions are overdone to the point that the meaning can be lost. Not so with David. He HOLDS some notes beautifully but otherwise lets the words speak for themselves. He does not use this song to show off. Bravo for keeping it simple, David!

Oh my gosh - I just realized the music is Mahler Symphony #5. Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir won the Olympics skating to this music together and it was such a romantic performance. To watch Katia perform it solo and at the same time think of Tessa and Scott makes Katia's tribute even more moving.

V&M did an exhibition to this song, but a different version. I just watched it from 2011 Worlds. Loved it and this montage is good too.

I just saw this for the first time today. Tessa, you almost made me cry too! Lucky she had Scott right there to cry on and step in with the answer. I love Tessa and Scott as skaters and as people. Welll done story.

Joannie pretty much introduced me to this song. This program is the reason I love it. Whenever I hear My Immortal from now on, I will think of Joannie. This is just absolutely beautiful.
