I am a Washington State University Grad as of May 2007, in which I received a B.S. in General Biology. Currently, I am researching a Master's degree in Education, as well as trying to get a job at Boeing so they can pay for my school =) I can't wait to become a science teacher and I am so excited to finally get my foot in the door and start helping kids learn to love science like I do.

My long time boyfriend and I finally tied the knot on December 2, 2007. We have been together for 12+ years before getting married, but he's been with me through all the good and bad times and without him I would not be where I'm at today. We've been the best of friends since Junior year of High School and still are today.

I am a huge animal lover and can spend hours at the zoo. I am addicted to reading and enjoy releasing my imagination. It can take hours to get me out of a library or book store =) I also like to spend my free time playing computer and video games as well as playing sports and hanging out in the great outdoors.

I LOVE TO READ! It is one of my favorite pass times!! I am a HUGE movie buff and can watch my favorite films over and over. I have a huge imagination and with the help of movies and books my imagination comes alive! To me, it is the best feeling in the world.

When it comes to books and movies, I am a hopeless romantic, but I also love fantasy adventures as well. I love books about Vampires, Werewolves, Wizards, Magic, Faeries, etc. Plus I just can't get enough of my favorite author's such as Jane Austen, Stephenie Meyer, Christopher Paolini, Ann Brashares, Charlotte Bronte, and J.K. Rowling(just to name a few). Jane Austen is by far my favorite writer of the past, while Stephenie Meyer is my favorite presently.

When reading Jane Austen it sometimes feels like I lived another life, somewhere in England, where they have the gorgeous little houses, amazing scenery, and excellent schools. My ultimate wish/goal is to one day live in one of those marvelous little English houses where I can enjoy the beautiful scenery and be a teacher at one of those wonderful Primary schools. Well...I guess we all have our goals and dreams.

Another pass time of mine, especially when I'm bored listening to class lectures, is that I love to draw my cartoon characters. I make sure to send one on every greeting/birthday card I send out. The kids seem to really love them and that makes me proud to see them smile. I've been drawing my characters since 3rd grade and it is amazing seeing how much they have changed from those days. They seem to have evolved into a life of their own and I am currently trying to draw all different types of personalities for them. I wish I had more time to work on them, but for now, school and work take up most of my time.

When I'm not lounging around reading, watching movies, or drawing, I love to go workout and get my blood flowing. I love that high you get after a long wonderful workout. My favorite things to do are Basketball, Tae Kwon Do, Roller Blading, Soccer, Swimming, and Dance Aerobics.

Most of the time you can catch me spending hours at the books store...I'm the one that is always sitting on the floor in my favorite book section discovering new adventures. I can walk around the zoo for hours watching all the amazing animals and their funny little expressions and habits. Makes me wonder if they think I am as interesting as they are to me. Working at a zoo would have been another dream of mine, but I will just have to settle with volunteering my time instead.

On my off days, when I need to let my imagination have a rest, I will pop in a favorite video or computer game. I am a huge fan of all the cute little kid games, but I do like to play some role playing games every once in a while as well. I do have to say that I love World of Warcraft and can't get enough of it. I'm usually the annoying one that runs around jumping, making my character do funny dances/sayings or I just run around and kill stuff for the fun of it. The quests are fun, but I tend to just "wing it" and enjoy my game play. This always seems to make my husband laugh, especially since he is a "die hard" WOW player and loves to group up for quests. He is always trying to convert me to work on the quest rather than goof around, but I am stubborn and just do the things that make me happy. I guess that is why we're are opposites, yet we still fit so perfectly together.
