Josh Ritter at the Capital Music Hall on 25 Oct 2010
Josh Ritter played a fantastic set at the Capital Music Hall on 25 October 2010. I recorded the first half with the Fuji F300EXR an the last half with the Panasonic ZS3. The ZS3 was able to record the complete half with no stoppage. The Fuji had to stop almost every song as it uses an inferior codec. This, I captured on a partial Change of Timeand I missed Long Shadows and Roll On. Sorry. The very cool time stoppage in the finale is intact, as is the excellent coffee and hotel story that leads to talking heads ... this was a great experience. Enjoy.

Jill Zmud at the Black Sheep Inn
Jill launched her new CD "As We Quietly Drive By" at the Black Sheep Inn on one cold Sunday in November 2009. The place was packed, the music was wonderful Sheesham and Lotus opened. I recorded this day with my Fuji F70EXR.

Notes: Complete recording, every minute from the moment they walked in to the moment they left the final time ... one exception, a 10 second battery change in the middle of the wait for the encore.

Postdata at the Black Sheep Inn 16MAR10
Postdata played the Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield, Quebec (just outside of Gatineau and Ottawa) on 16 March 2010. Julie Fader's band opened. The concert was fantastic and was recorded in its entirety by me and buy the CBC. I am publishing first :-) ... and I think you will be surprised at how well the audio has come out. Enjoy.
