Western Demonic Spirits, a Parable: A happy Khmer extended family was living in harmony in a tropical paradise. One day two of the brothers were possessed by Money-Demon and Blood-Demon who were archenemies back in their demonic lands of Eurusa. Brother "Money" believes in "money-rules" and one day the Money-Demon whispered in Brother "Money" ears: "Here's the money, now since you're the richest man in family, you should lord over them." ... So Brother "Money" began to lord over his extended family household. Brother "Blood" disagreed and protested,... but eventually he was kicked out of his own home,... "Money Rules!", he was told. Blood-Demon whispered in his ears: "the only way to revenge this injustice is to kill your brother and take over the house by force." And so he killed Brother "Money", then kill, and kill, and kill many more... just to lord over his shrinking extended family members...

I guess the Christian fundamentalists couldn't be more happier with the results that they had "accomplished" in Afghanistan, KILLING TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE. Get rid of a 1500 years old Buddha statue and kick the Islamists ass at the same time. Let them laugh at their bad karma, for now...

On the military front, it was a classic text book case taken out directly from the pages of Sun Zi "The Art of War" -- You insult the leadership of your enemies, drive them mad and inflamed their irrational behaviors... The leadership erratic behaviors weaken their legitimacy to rule and strengthen the hands of the internal oppositions --- These strategies are called "Insulting the locust tree while pointing to the mulberry tree" 指桑骂槐and "locked chains strategy" 连环计 (this strategy sometime are mistranslated as the "chained pearls strategy")  Afghanistan was Divided and Conquered by the Americans! Sort of! The Americans problem is -- those pesky Taliban just won't give up fighting! LOL!
