Steps to Becoming a Hyo-holic

1) You started to hummm his song or songs, but not really knowing who's singing. Probably heard him on the radio or during one of popular k-dramas.

2) You started to pay attention to the singer and his name, and try to find more of his songs and music videos.

3) You are curious about the artist's look and search for his live videos and what not.

4) You are even more curious about his personal lives, apart from singing, and started to search for any clips of him in different variety shows and radio clips.

5)You join the fan club, blog, threads about him! Must need to know all the details about his life! Need to discuss about him and his music and voice! You even dream about him! Fans call that Hyo-Mong (Hyo Dream).

6) Alas, you figured out he doesn't appear on a lot of variety shows, and only way to see him is to go to his concert. This makes you very sad, since he's concert just ended or was few years ago or you are not in Korea. Darn it! You started to watch shows, whenever other celeb comments about him. Even join their fan sites to see if you can read about him from their fans.

7) You believe you are in L.O.V.E. with this man, and everyone you know must know and need to appreciate him like you do. You started to show your friends and family, his videos and pictures, and give them mp3s of his songs, so they'll listen. You started to watch the k-dramas, where his song is playing.

You watch him singing on tv and are amazed at his emotional and vocal abilities and believe this man truely is the artist and deserves all the praises in the world and scoffs at menufactured IDOLS or any other ballad singers. No one can compare to him.

You believe, most of the singers are overshadowed by his powerful voice, even when he's covering the other person's song. You started to give koodos to singers who can duet with him and still sounds as good as him, aka Kim Bum Soo, Lena Park, etc.

You belive the best compliment to give the other singers's fans are they have matched upto his level and wasn't overshadowed by him.

You feel bad for the other singers, when they sound bad because they have dueted with him, and worried that nobody wants to duet with him in this rate.

8) Finally, chance of a life time, you attend his concert with a friend, who doesn't really know who the singer is or why you like him so much, so you had to bribe your friend into coming with you.

9) You are too happy to enlist your friends and family into Hyo-holic club and shares everything you have, when they show a slight interest.

10) You are going into "After Concert" hiatus shock. You can't believe it had happaned, and at the same time you are sad that you have to wait another year or two to see him on TV again.

11) You began to re-watch all of his old videos online and discuss about him on the fan site/blog/club/thread about how much you're missing him

12) Started to worry when he's going to come back, and what he might be doing this moment, away from the spotlight. Started to search his name for any news, but there's nothing.

13) OMG, there's a news of his aliveness, when a fan spotted him at such and such event. You are happy for a week about this. You are happy for a month when you get to see a candid paparachi photo of him, this reminds you, yes, he is indeed alive and breathing the same air. You are envious, when you spots a lucky fan (who must have saved a life in the past life to have this amazing karma to meet him in person)'s photo of him with the fan smiling on the street. You tell yourself, at least he wasn't smiling. Then thinks he'll probably show his amazingly cute hyo smile when he doesn't know he's in front of the camera.

14) His absence is getting unbearable, and you decided to focus on something else and not think about him so much.

15) After few months of absence, you started to hear about his comeback. You get excited and decided to come back and visit the fan site/club/blog/thread

You might repeat the steps before in excitement.

16) When you read or meet new Hyoholics, you just smile and remember what it was like for the first time, and began to explain all the things you know about him and very nice to newbies, so they'll be prepare for the shock and patience of being a fan of his. You tell them, it's hard, but it's worth the wait, because he is the best and no one can compare.

17) You feel proud and motherly about him now that you have spent all these time. You've re-watched and memorized all of his videos and radio files from his 1st year till now in the entertainment business.

18) You have survived his fever with strong heart and can wait until the next concert or next album without being anxious. You became tough and you believe you can wait two more years when he goes away for his military duty.
