I used to watch horror films on BBC 2 on a Saturday night with my mother when I was a kid. This one has always stood out as my favourite. Absolute classic with a creepy atmosphere. The ending on the train is just brilliant.

I love this film. Tha Alastair Sim film, George C Scott one, Albert Finney musical and the Patrick Stewart ones are my four favourites.

Agree with itsameray. People tend to sway toward the Alistair Sim version, which was excellent. But personally I really rate this and the Patrick Stewart version. And the Albert Finney musical was great also.
