Why make me cry for?

Of course nothing is totally stress-free, especially re-homing an angry, neglected cat for the first time. We both had to work hard to get along, and Betsy worked even harder. During the first week, after a lot of biting and scratching, I was sitting in her room, feeling battered and bruised, nursing my sore hand, wondering where we were going to next, when she came up to me, and with every fibre of her being, looked up at me, locked her eyes meaningfully into mine, put out her paw and laid it on my hand, as if to say: Dont be sad, Im not really that bad!. This was a turning point.

Hi, thanks for all the kind comments. I am pleased to report that, although despite the efforts of many people we were unable to find Betsy's owners, we were able to find her a loving home. A kind lady from Kew had been following her story and applied to look after her. She has been settled in her new home for over a month now and doing really well!

Oh what a darling cat!!! I have a cat too but she's still a kitten... i almost cried when i saw that video to Betsy that's finding her old home or family
but, i can't keep her because you're from london and im from philippines......=(

Please keep us updated about Betsy, I read and saw the video, and was very sad and worried about her. I hope the owners find her. it brought tears to my eyes when I saw the video, betsys eyes look so sad. Also the music just fit the video.I live in the states(arizona) and I sure would get her if I could.Keep us posted...
