About this user

Kira is an artist, dancer, singer, actor, choreographer, writer and model hailing from Queens, New York of Guyanese ancestry. Her mission in life is to share her light with the world through all forms of art. Beginning her training at the tender age of four she took classes such as tap, jazz, ballet, modern, acrobatics, afro-caribbean, traditional West African, hip-hop, piano and vocal which later proved to cultivate her versatile abilities.
In 2009 Kira made her Broadway debut with the electrifying musical Fela! Kira's professional credits include Choreographing and performing with artists such as Alison Hinds, Beyonce Knowles, Jill Scott, Machel Montano, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Mr. Dale, Tami Chynn, Eve, Remy Ma, N*E*R*D, Thunderkatz and The Editors. She recently sang back-up at the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in Paris as a member of the newly formed band "Questlove's Afro Picks" with lead vocalist and grammy award winner's Macy Gray and Black Thought from the Roots. More recently Kira is working on her first album entitled Divinty and has also created a new dance group called the Soca Sirens, of which she is the artistic director.
