What I would reccomend to you, assuming it wasn't saving anything, would be to remove the game card. It should then display a black screen with something like, "the game card has been removed. To anyone dogging the graphics: it's going to be on a handheld. It looks grainy when you blow it up to the size of a computer monitor, imagine it shrunk down to a few inches. It's going to be pretty.
