I'm located about 30 minutes south of Hot Springs. You can pick small rocks off the surface of the ground in a state park but there is a fine if you dig a hole. You can get a crystal collecting permit from a forest service station for a small fee that will allow you to hunt crystals in the national forest. You are not suppose to dig holes.. but if you dig a hole and make sure to fill it in you shouldnt have any problems!

You job is a lot of very hard labor but I cant think of anything I'd rather do for a living. I was lucky and stumbled across some rare crystals a decade ago while fishing and that jump started my business. Not a day goes by that I'm not thankful to have such a interesting job doing something I enjoy so much!

hey man love your videos! Are you near Hot Springs? I am going on a camping trip there in August and plan on doing some crystal digging. I'm assuming your not allowed to dig in the state park?

Hello Mike ! I really am amazed at the quality of the raw quarts, they are so beautiful! I favored many videos, just in hope of finding something similar to these, and to reference the names you used in the description. @jordantheman45 Well you have to be in the right area for starters. Very few mountains have such nicely formed crystals in them.. although most areas have some type of neat rocks. Best to go out and look in places where the top soil has been removed.. like ditches or maybe the shore of a lake.
