I've seen the photo since - on the cover of issue 3 of BOSS magazine. There's some brilliant photographs used on the covers of that magazine, including one of the approach to the Kop down Back Rockfield lane from the King Harry.

i remember scurrying aroiund seeing this band 3 times in a few weeks around 89, fkn loved them. Nostalgia watching this.

Powerful stuff. Could do without Joaquin Phoenix and certainly the last 10 minutes of utter pap with the mandolins.

@p1ngu1no I'm familiar with MBV's discography. This sounds nothing like it.

Dirge has some similarities, but this lp is stripped down Michael Rother style krautrock.

It is very good.
