About this user
I really suck at writing these "About Me" thingies. So where do I begin??
I recently graduated from a rather unimportant university with a somewhat unimportant degree in a quasi-important field. In short, I am a fully qualified and highly trained bum. At the risk of coming off as arrogant, I must say I am the best in my field. You will not find a more dedicated bum!
I am a jack of all trades, really. I probably have too many interests for my own good. I think the world is a very big place and there is far too much out there -- so much that is intriguing -- that I can't not be interested in it. So there isn't much I don't like talking about. If it's a subject I can't contribute much to, chances are I'll still enjoy hearing about it. (unless it's sports or math -- then my mind turns to jelly straight away!).
In my free time I like to hang out and talk with my friends, and make new ones. I also like to hike, go for bike rides, read, write, fence (old school, not the modern Olympic junk), listen to my weird collection of music, watch movies, draw, fish, play games, cook, practice martial arts, sing & play weird musical instruments (When nobody is around), enjoy nature, watch storms, ponder the meaning of life, argue politics, and most importantly, practice any form of mischief that I can.
I have an odd sense of humor -- I try to see the funny sides in everything. It makes life more enjoyable, but occasionally, sometimes -- okay, semi-frequently -- causes me to make inappropriate jokes at inappropriate times. I'll go to any length for a practical joke, ranging from sabotaging a professor's office, all the way to creating a student organization with the sole purpose of giving a good friend a hard time.
I have a weakness for anything cute and/or adorable -- little animals or sappy cartoon characters. I have come to the conclusion that the most important invention throughout the history of humanity is Chinese food . . . *pauses to drool* . . . I have also apparently have a weakness for Disney songs. But don't tell anybody.
Life is a strange thing, and the most important and wise lesson it has taught me -- recently in fact -- is that life is short, and we should enjoy it. There's a lot of wonderful stuff out there, so we shouldn't dwell on the icky parts. In light of that, I just want to live life, enjoy the good, and . . . um . . . eat Chinese food.
If you want to know more about Chinese food, or anything else, feel free to ask.
